I went to this hotel with my husband and 1-year old baby. We shared a somewhat larger bedroom at the from. We had our own balcony and a fantastic view of Lake Orta, without specifically asking for it. Can't remember ever having gad such a view from my bedroom! The restaurant also has a beautiful view.
The interior of our room was ok. The interior of the restaurant is quite outdated, though the food was fine. The only thing we really didn't like was the breakfast. It was in some sort of 70s party-room (no view), and consisted of mostly cereals out of the box and toasts in a plastic bag....
If you spend the night here, take the time to take the boat across the lake to Orta San gulio, a great little city!
The owner by the way only speaks Italian.
