Upon arriving in Cuneo from a most unpleasant experience in the Cinque Terre, the kind owner of the hotel: Giorgio Chiesa and his wife Stefania, greeted me. The hotel is centrally located on Via Roma in Cuneo. The room was a standard room but it was a suite inclusive of a jacuzzi bathtub!
The dinner was fabulous and they have all the best wines from the Piemonte region of Italy.
A word of caution about this area of Italy: knowing some Italian is very helpful. Or at least knowledge of French or German, since it is close to both borders.
I was treated like a Principessa. They also offer one-day cooking classes, which I partook in. I will definitely be back!!

I have traveled throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East for the past 5-years. This is the most memorable hotel experience I have had. My wife and I loved the room, the food and especially the friendly and helpfull staff.

This is a real gem.

We just completed our European honeymoon tour and of the 6 hotels we stayed in this was top! We had an excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant. While some might find the dining pricey, we paid more for far worse food in Paris. They waited on our every need, top notch service is hard to come by in Europe.

The hotel itself was immaculate. The deluxe room was very comfortable. We didn't even have a reservation and they gave us the off-season, better than internet price. The owner(?) was on duty and personally showed us the deluxe and suite rooms. We were quoted an unbelievable 115 Euros and she said(to get us to stay of course) I will take 15 Euros off the price if you want. We even were offered a free parking spot for our car! (they usually charge 15 Euros/day I think).

An overall very enjoyable experience, very kind and informative staff, 5 Star restaurant, and lovely place to visit!
