We were the loud unorganized 'Americanos' and if it weren't for Maruicio at the front desk, we would have never made it back to the states!! Or to Mondovi on a Sunday, Mondovi Villanova soccer field, or to Turin airport to pick up a rental car to make it back to Milan to fly out,...... you get the picture.......

At the end of a long weary trip, he and the two wonderful breakfast ladies were AWESOME. They went out of their way to help us, guide us, talk to us, MAKE US FEEL AT HOME for 3 days, which is more than I can say for another international chain we stayed at in Turin.

He was over the top helpful, has a great sense of humor, and we had some great conversations about youth soccer....what a great energy. When it came down to the wire on two occasions, he called cabs, ran numbers, called rental car places, looked at maps with us and got us where we needed to be - unbelievable. By the end of the trip there were hugs all the way around, he had become family.

I can't say enough about this hotel. If I ever go back, I will stay here, I would recommend this place to anyone. A small hiccup at checkin was completely forgotten about by us because of the fantastic service we got.

Hotel is situated in the center of the city opposite to market place.
+Rooms and good and quite large.
+Hotel staff was very friendly allways saying hello and asking how you doing when you enter or leave the hotel, which is good and make you feel welcome in the hotel.
+breakfast is included in the price.Good service, you can choose from many types of coffee and it is served to your table. Breakfast has italians sweet pastries but also salty food (sandwiches, ham..) which is good for us ho haven't use to sweet breakfast yet :)
+Good location. Many restaurants nearby and nice places to go for a walk.

my wife and i stayed overnight on our way from Turin to Southern France.
I cannot speak too highly at the welcome and care we were provided with, predominantly by the owner, manager. from the initial welcome ,parking the car, recommending a restaurant, and helping us leave ,the care was excellent.
The rooms are typically Italian . S Dark but the bed and room was comfortable and the bathroom especially clean and wonderfully tiled.
Breakfast was fine.
Cuneo has a great market on tuesday and is well off the beaten track you can get some bargains. The hotel is on the square where the market is held.

The Hotel Principe (Best Western) is located facing the city square (and our room with its little balcony faced the square). This was a walk-in booking and we were not disappointed with anything except that the hotel does not have a restaurant open for dinner. Then we found out one of the reasons why...a delightful surprise. The owner made reservations for us at a small side-street restaurant about a five minute walk from the hotel. If this had been France we would call this a bistro. The food and ambience were both outstanding. We noted that the owner seemed to resemble the hotel owner.......and sure enough, when we asked the next morning we learned that she is his sister (talk about keeping it in the family!). But be that as it may the recommendation was right on target for our needs and tastes so we were happy. One thing we have learned is that Best Western in Europe is often very very different from Best Western in the US.
