Nothing special, it's overpriced (worth 50-60 EUR) but the personnel is very friendly and location is good (few minutes walk from the historical center).

Although not located in the old city center, it's just a short walk away from there and in exchange for that you will get well maintained, clean rooms and friendly, personal staff.

The hotel is located almost directly opposite the station; which is a short walk from the city centre and the university. Rooms were clean and free internet is provided.

From the railway station it is a very short walk to the hotel. From there it is not much of a walk before you are in the midst of Pavia's very interesting centre - somewhere much under estimated by most tourists. There are lovely churches (some exceedingly old) and also a very interesting ancient university, plus river walks. La Certosa is only a few miles to the north (and can be reached by bus or train.)The hotel itself is a peculiarly narrowly fronted , but long, building, with the guest rooms reached by a long windy corridor. However, the rooms are fine and comfortable. We weren't desperately impressed with the breakfasts.
