Only positive you can say about this hotel is that it has friendly staff. The toilet stank of urine. The hotel is definitively not 4 star. It is only 2 - 21/2 star. The blanket had a burn hole and some old chocolate bits stuck in it. The decor has not been changed since around 1970 and the room was not very clean. It is quite a way outside pavia, which is fine as they had a shuttle bus only we did not find out until we were leaving and previously tried to get a bus to the centre which stopped running at 19.30. It definitively wasn't quiet when you opened the window as it is on a main road. One to be missed as we paid 100 euros per night for a double room.
