1. Tiny rooms and facilities. You can't swing in the shower cabin without jogging the water handle. But you don't care if you look for the hotel only for sleeping after intensive exploration of the city.
2. Great staff! You hardly find better in much more stars. Maybe they are not so well-trained, but of course they will try their best for you.
3. Close to the Centrale station, but NOT TOO close.
4. There's a Saturday market near.
5. I've paid peanuts for the room. But they seem to make the price now less reasonable.
6. About the Internet. I saw a computer in the lobby for guests' use, but I didn't liked the fee. (One must pay for the whole hour or something even if single short e-mail message is to be sent).

I'm not a fussy traveller. This hotel suits my need and budget. But of cause, what you pay is what you get. No wifi, no lift in the hotel etc. Basic needs with clean towels. One thing I wanna highlight is that the signage outside (Hotel Nettuno) and the main door indicated different hotel. But is actually the same hotel together. We had to walk to the other end of the street to find an entrance for "Hotel Nettuno", only to turn back and ask the reception. The area around Hotel Nettuno, nothing to shout about..

We were visiting Verona by train, so we decided on this hotel as it was near the Milan Central station. The station is within walking distance but we chose to take one of the many buses when we checked out since we had the 24 hour Milano card. Hotel is hostel like and our room was below a back lane but was able to get a good night's sleep. Room was a tad worn but the toilet was modern and clean. Overall happy with the hotel as what we wanted was a warm shower and a comfy bed.

There were several italian eateries on the same street and we enjoyed our lunch at one of them, a family-run one although no English was spoken there.

I stay here for two nights and it was ok. the bed was so hard - like a plank of wood with a sheet over it. the room was a decent size compared to others i've stay in and it was clean, same with the bathroom. no lift and large steps so that was hard getting our luggage up the stairs. its not a place i would recommend to other or a place i would go back to. but it wasnt that bad.
