We stayed at the Idea Hotel Milano Watttredici over the holidays and had a splendid time. Our room was on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the rooftops with views of Milan. The hotel is a 20-minute walk to the navigli canal district where there are numerous shops, bars, and cafes to explore. The city bus has a stop within 500 yards of the hotel which you can connect to the nearest subway that will connect to all parts of the city. A 90-minute pass is only 1.25 euro. Tickets can be purchased at several neighborhood convenience stores. We walked around quite a bit and never felt uncomfortable. Make sure to check out the Octopus Bar across the street and the wine bar directly across the street as well.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Many tv channels can be converted into english speaking channels. No free internet. Costs 7 euro per day. Breakfast buffet was good, the only negative was when breakfast was crowded with customers staff were slow to clean, but again this could be because of the holiday week. Would stay again. Good deal for under $100.00 per night. Cheers.

Hotel was an easy 15min walk from the metro (Romolo), the area looked a bit questionable (lots of graffiti etc) and we had to navigate our suitcases through the poo and phlegm on the footpath. If you take a taxi or a car this wont be a problem, but because we walked everywhere it was pretty gross. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty - good selection of cold meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals as well as eggs and bacon. We found it suitable for an overnight stop, but probably wouldnt stay here if it was for a longer stay (because of the area, not the hotel).

Lungo i Navigli troverete refrigerio in un hotel di poche pretese ma proprio per questo di grande interesse.Cordiale il personale e lo stretto indispensabile accogliente.Le stanze sono piccole tutte ma se si sta a Milano per tutt'altro che trascorrere ore nella stanza d'albergo è un buon luogo da raccomandare.La clientela è giovane e giovanile le colazioni al mattino appena svegli abbastanza appaganti.il Duomo è facilmente raggiungibile in 10 minuti di tram.Da provare

The rooms are too small, but very clean. The breakfast was pretty good. The thing that upset me was the parking fee: 20€ a night.... The Location was ok(we had car). The hotel was very clean and the interior design was amazing. For the price we have payed was ok.
