Due to my business obligations, I had to stay for few months in Milano during 2011. For that time I stayed in numerous hotels, but NHow was my best choice. I had a two week stay there, and I can only recommend this hotel. Nice rooms, perfect breakfast (and that is really an achievement for Italy!), friendly staff, located in Navigli area which is perfect place for a good dinner and going out... I was very pleased in overall with this hotel. My honest recommendation. My only negative point is an extremely overpriced room service!

I stayed here as it was near our office in Milan. This is not a central hotel but it does make up for that in it's quirkiness. The frontage is not that welcoming but the design features are wonderful and overcome any initial reticence. It is rather like staying in a gallery.

The rooms are a good size and comfortable and quiet.

I had no expectations, expecting it be another business hotel. I was pleasantly surprised.

NHOW practices a booking method I have never seen in 10 years of global travelling: you now cannot book for one night only. if you try so, the booking site suggests you try for two nights, and suddenly you can get a room when it was impossible for one!
The reservation service openly says it is part of the hotel restrictions to proceed like this.
What is this? Have you heard of this before? it seems to me the hotel takes unfair advantage of its popularity to take guests into hostages and book two nights, even if they only need one.
Given the very mediocre superior quality hotel scene in Milan, this certainly works.
However, I am free to think this is deceitful.

Absolutely loved the design features of the hotel - huge lobby with quirky chandeliers, black and white prints of 80s supermodels and multi-coloured thrones.

Room was ultra modern and very clean. Decent size, well equipped and comfy bed. Not overly keen on the bathroom arrangements - funky rather than private!

Excellent breakfast - very good choice, good service, tables cleared promptly etc. We were impressed to see there was complimentary self-service afternoon tea in the bar too.

I would have happily given five stars but for us the location was a bit far out from the centre. It is a five minute walk to the nearest tram station (the number 14 goes into town and takes 10-15 minutes) and a ten minute walk to the nearest metro. However the Navigli district (with lots of bars, restaurants etc) is about a fifteen minute walk from the hotel and we had two very enjoyable evenings here.
