Very Friendly staff, about 20 minute walk to the center of the city. Good base to set up from. Good value for money.

Shared Bathroom Though! Be Advised!

I took a double room for myself since I wanted my own bath. The room was small and clean and well maintained. The folks at reception were really friendly. Since I arrived in the evening, it was perfect for a one night stop.

We stayed just for one night at this hotel, but we were really glad to find such a nice place. The rooms are small but clean, and the guy in the reception was really cool. It's a very good option if you need to sleep near to the train station in Milan for a good price.

We stayed for one night in the beginning of November, 2011, and were allowed to store our bags in the breakfast room until it was time for us to leave for the airport for our late afternoon flight. The room was comfortable, clean, secure, and had free WiFi. There were 80 - count them - 80 steps to the hotel, but there was a small elevator that one person at a time and one suitcase could fit into and so you did not have to carry your suitcase up those 80 steps. The location was good, within a few minutes walking distance from the train station. There was also a grocery store within a couple of blocks for self-catering. The breakfast, although basic, was adequate and, surprisingly, the do-it-yourself coffee machine produced fairly good coffee. All things considered, Hotel Arno was a good budget choice for seeing Milan.
