I have just returned from a business trip to Milan. I had booked my accommodation through (--) to stay at the aboved mentioned hotel. The hotel is advertised as being a 3 star hotel, but I have never come across such a contradiction in terms. The hotel is situated on a unsafe district for women, dirty and dark. From the entrance to the reception (ha ha ha) you had to walk down several steps to a room no bigger than a bathroom that served as reception, bar, breakfast area and sitting room. The room was at the second floor without a lift and with a such a narrow staircase that you had to carry your luggage on your arms to take them to your room. The room was small but clean but the staff made no effort to make me feel welcome. The were not helpful at all and spoke monkey english. The breakfast was just aweful with a tiny buffet of milk, orange juice, cereal, (plastic) cheese and toast. There was no room service and they could not cater for a cup of chocolate and a bottle of water although there was no corner shop in the area. Even if it were it was too scary to go out after dusk. I had a disastrous stay in whole and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
