“Great price-value & centrally located”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

The hotel is 15min walking distance with luggage to the train station and about 3min to the Porta Venezia Metro Stop, 2 stops away from Duomo. The location is very good on one of the main shopping streets with shops like H&M, Zara, Stradivarius, etc. and close to the center.
The room was clean and the bathroom functional.
For that price, you get more value than in most hotels in Milano and very friendly &helpful service. Would recommend it anytime.

Room Tip: A room facing away from the street increases your sleeping comfort, unless you have loud neighbours...

“extremely convenient, but can be noisy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 December 2011

As the other reviewers state, the location in Milan can't be beat for the price - close both to the railroad terminal and the center, and on one of the main commercial streets in the city.
The hotel is also well run, albeit without breakfast, by attentive owners and staff. The walls, however, are thin - if you get drunken students who like to watch TV at top volume as your neighbors, your best hope is that they'll pass out before midnight...

Room Tip: ask for room away from the street

“I highly recommend it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. We were 3 persons in a triple room and paid 200 euros in total.
In terms of location, it is on a main road (Corso Buenos Aires) which is well lit during the night and also a very safe area. There are a lot of shops as well and the metro stop M1 is just a few metres away from the hotel. The hotel is not far from the Centrale Train Station (about 15 mins by metro) and just 3 stops away from the Duomo.

Checkin was at 12pm but the room was not ready until 1.30pm. They made up for this by giving all 3 of us a free cappuccino and a delicious brioche from a bar next to the hotel on the next day. We were also allowed to choose between 2 rooms. We chose one with a window on the Corso. Thanks to double glazing you will not hear the traffic. The hotel is very quiet and located on the first floor of a Palazzino. The room was a decent size, spotless and had a tv, hairdryer, a/c and heating. The bathroom was nice as well. Towels were changed and the bed was done for us. The staff were all nice and helpful. They gave us a map, tips and also booked our taxis in the evenings.

This is definitely not the 1 star hotel I expected. I cannot recommend it enough! I would definitely stay here again.

“Nice hotel for a great value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

Nice hotel located 20 minutes from the train station and 25 minutes to the Duomo by foot. There are two metro stops nearby, too. The hotel staff were helpful and accommodating. We requested a room not facing the main street based off of a previous reviewer's comment, and were satisfied with the quite room. The air conditioner in the room was a bit loud but at least it worked. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The hotel is well marked from the street; you do have to get buzzed in at night. Overall, the hotel was great for an overnight stay and a great value in an expensive city.

Room Tip: If you're a light sleeper, request a room not facing the street - Room 101 was great for us.

“A comfortable and clean room in a good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2011

A comfortable and clean room. Located on a shopping street with plenty of restaurants and services in the area. About a 20 minute walk to the Duomo. Located close to two metro stops if walking isn't your thing. I would not hesitate staying here again.
