“Near a metro stop, nice price.. but hated the bed!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 July 2010

Hotel staff was very friendly, breakfast was ok, price was decent.. Air conditioning was quite ok. Toilet facilities were clean and functional. But the one of the beds was so saggy that I had to take the mattress to the floor to be able to sleep. Other bed was saggy too, but not as impossible to sleep on as the other.

The hotel is very close to Lotto Fiera metro station on the red line, that's a plus !

“A bargain, money saving, decent option in Milan”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 July 2010

The Hotels offers one of the better rates in Milan and this is why it's well known and gets many customers. When we got there, we found the furniture and the carpet and curtains a little old style, but the room was spacious, clean and the bed was great. Bathroom was also good, clean and spacious with some bathing objects offered. It also has a mini bar/refrigirator and a good air-condition. The only problem, was that the corridors were a little smelly in the morning, probably due to not good air changing. Generally, it's not a luxurious one, and it starts getting a little old (stains one the wallpapers, old elevator etc) but it's a good option, for staying low in accomodation cost. The breakfast was really good (many options offered), served in a nice area on the first floor. The red metro line is very close, oppossite the square.
As ohers mentioned, is not very easy to be initially located! It's on the corner, of Piazza Lotto and Via Veniero (or something!). Underground parking is offered for such high price or 20 Euro per night.

“Average accomodations but breakfast and service was excellent”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 June 2010

It was the first leg of our trip to Italy. I went with my three daughters (ages 20,22 and 24). We stayed at this hotel for 12 days. Shower was small and the water kind of dribbled down. Air conditioning was a little loud but worked well. Good location as it was near a metro. Has an elevator, internet access and fridge in the room. Front desk staff extremely warm and friendly, helpful in giving advice and directions. Day staff speaks fluent English. Breakfast (included with room) was served in the hotel restaurant and was the best we had during our 21-day stay in Italy. Buffet lunch (not included) was phenomenal. We had a great time in Milan because of our stay at this hotel.

“Best cost-quality ratio”

Very nice and clean hotel, located a little bit off the centre. Breakfast was really nice, the room spacious, clean and beautiful, toilet facilities - excellent. Combining with a very low price - just perfect.
The only inconvenience - we were unable to find the ATM machine nearby.

“Very good value, good location, getting a little rough around the edges”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2009

All in all, I'd call this an excellent value. The hotel is directly on the RED line, so have easy access to the city. Rooms are clean, but the comforters are thread-bare and the wallpaper is not in the best condition. As many of the other comments indicate, the breakfast is pretty weak, but I wouldn't call it bad ... orange juice drink, milk, coffee, yogurt, cheese, bread and ham. Not much variety and not much to look at, but will give you good start. Hotel staff is both polite and helpful and they speak English. This is no Marriott, but the rooms are clean and quite large. You are not in the thick of the city, but it is only a short subway ride away. There are several good pizza joints within a few blocks and a grocery store one street over. I'd suggest it to someone visiting the city on a budget (reminds me of staying outside of Washington, DC and taking the train into town for activities).
