I think this could have been one of my worst hotel stays ever. I don't know where this hotel got its 3 stars from, i wouldn't give it 1 star. When i arrived i was told that the hotel visa machine was broken and that they only took Amex and Cash....bad start i thought and quite suspect. I had already had to book the hotel and based on its location was the best value for money for visiting the furniture expo in Rho fiera. I went to my room which was run down and tatty for the €243.00 per night i was being robed of. The room was particularly warm so i tried the aircon...not working. i went out and had some food and came back to the hotel and was greeted by a prostitute soliciting business outside the hotel. after the introduction i had to the hotel so far this didn't surprise me. i had a terrible nights sleep in a roasting room. i told the desk attendant the following morning about the issue with the aircon and she was not even remotely interested but took down the details and said someone will look at it. returned that evening to find the aircon not working...surprise surprise!! another bad nights sleep in a tatty room with no aircon, no proper curtains and a window shutter that was jammed half way.
i addressed all the issues i had with the desk when checking out and looked for a discount but they were not even remotely interested. if they were not holding my passport to ransom i would have given they €100 and walked out.
