Last minute trip to Milan took us to this hotel. It was OK but we won't return.
* Very unpleasant location close to a heavily trafficated street and the shade back-alleys behind the central station
* Old hotel that probably hasn't been refurbished since the 70's
* Small rooms that felt really dirty
* Heavy traffic during the nights called for earplugs when sleeping
* Sad breakfast (but OK by italian standards I guess)
* Not very attentive reception staff

I stayed at the Hotel for just one night. I was probably unlucky being a very full week in Milan so they were probably fully booked. Anyway, my room was in the attic and the ceiling was so low that even though I'm not tall I almost hit my head heading to the bed. The ceiling was slanted, the temperature very high and there was a constant noise coming from the inner wall probably the engine of the elevator. If I had to stay more than one night, I would have asked either to find me another room or leave the Hotel. So, keep in mind when booking and make sure you not being assigned a room in the attic.

I needed a well placed hotel for a stopover after flying into Malpensa at lunchtime & departing from Bergamo the following morning, wishing to wizz around Milan sightseeing for the afternoon, whilst traveling with my 3 teenage children. This hotel ticked all the boxes, the transfers by coach to & from the airports were easy & the hotel just a few minutes walk from the station. We had connecting twin rooms which were clean ( I am fussy), the showers needed a little attention on performance issues,& were a little cramped but O.K. The hotel is close to the metro with cheap & easy access into central Milan,(fantastic city) the area around the hotel isn't particularly affluent, but at no time did I feel uneasy. The staff were friendly, suggested a little Pizzeria a few minutes walk away for supper & after a good pizza & red wine I slept well. An adequate breakfast followed. Would recommend for value city breaks & excellent for airport transfers.

We have arrived in Milan at 11pm and on the next day we would be getting the train at 7am. Because of this we've decided to stay near the train station. For people doing the same thing as we, the location is superb.
The room was very nice, friendly staff and the complete breakfast.

Stay at albert hotel was ok but when i compare it to demo hotel next door , albert stands out.
Staff is cooperative & they are flexible on you booking.
the cancellation policy is very nice & the staff belives to help you out.
Breakfast room is nice & large.
