“Very good hotel in the heart of Milan! Highly recommended!!!”

I did not put excellent for this hotel, just to leave room for perfection :)
Otherwise very good hotel in the city centre, perfect place and walking distance (5 minutes) from Duomo and about 15 minutes from MonteNapaleoni.
Check in smooth, no problems what so ever.
We arrived earlier and our room was already ready!
Decent size rooms, bathroom slightly worn, but very tidy. Very clean everywhere. Our windows were inside the hotel - no amazing views, but very quite and good sleep quality. Bed nice and comfy.
TV has couple free english speaking and even russian programmes.
Internet was free, decent speed, but... we had not read instructions properly - it is 24 hours from first log in!!! We logged in for 1 hour and gone to bed and next morning it was no free internet!!! Another thing let the rooms down - no coffee/tea making facilities - we like late tea in the bed or earlier coffee on the mornings and we found this quite big disadvantage. Room has in room safe - which was very handy.
Breakfast very good and staff very good there !!! - good choice and variety of foods and pastries you could die for!!!!. Coffee really amazing!!!.
We had no particular problem during our 3 night stay and even were offered an umbrella one very rainy day.
It is very good value for money in superb location - quiet location with shops and bars just round the corner.
When we will come back to Milan we probably will stay there again.

“Good business hotel - pleasant staff central location too.”

This is a lovely hotel near a tram stop and within walking distance of the white cathedral and square.
The top floor has a balcony area - it was winter when I was there but you could see the balcony area would be lovely in summer. Breakfast was good.

Room Tip: Top floor would be good but I think might be noisy also if the open air bar area were in use.

“Central location”

The hotel is centrally located near to many tourist sites. The Duomo is just a short walk away and so are the main shopping thoroughfares. We were given a standard double room which suits our needs. Hotel service is good. Breakfast offerings are fair. Free wifi is a plus.

“Good Milano location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 November 2011

Location of the hotel is a big plus. Rooms are partially refurbished. I got one of the old rooms which feel a bit dated with the carpet and decor. No gym. Next park 15 minutes walk away. Free wifi. Ok breakfast - good coffee.Recommended for short city breaks.

“Great location but pricey...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 November 2011

Good breakfast. nice bar and brilliant location (3 minutes walk to the Duomo). Comfortable bed. Downsides for me were that the rooms smelled of must (poor ventilation in the bathroom maybe?) and so I had to leave the windows open (which I also needed to do as the room was hot and the A/C was not on). This had a knock on effect as my window was on the main road and Milan seems to be a non-stop city - traffic, trams and cleaners all night on the street! I am not sure if that would be any different elsewhere as I only stayed here but it was a pity to not have working air conditioning.

Room Tip: rooms at the back would have been quieter and hence more likely to sleep with the window open...
