We spent 2 1/2 weeks in italy in various hotels and this was by far the worst. We wer greeted by an unfriendly clerk. the room and bathroom were dirty. the "double bed" which was two twins spushed together (which we knew was in most hotels in italy) had a huge space between the two twins so it was extremely uncomfortable. the place was ugly. i didnt even know they made showers that small- you could barely fit and we are normal weight people. overall- the worst value for your your monet i have seen. DO NOT STAY HERE!

We had very unpleasant experience with This hotel during our trip to Milan in March 2005.

Regardless of the fact that we had a confirmed reservation for two adults and one child, the hotel manager refuse to
put a room for us with one double bad and one bed for our daughter.
After troublesome negotiations their force us to pay for an additional room for single person in amount of 100 Euro per night.
We're not even saying that all room are very small, dirty and we couldn't eat breackfast included in our room rate because it wasn't enough food for all people living in this hotel.

BEWARE: Never Again! I just completed my 49th trip to Europe -- I've stayed in nice hotels, I've stayed in fabulous hotels, and I've stayed in disgusting hotels ... but the Giulio Cesare is the absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the rudest hotel clerk I've ever met. My room was tiny (not enough room on the floor to open my carry-on suitcase) and dirty (thank goodness I carry Swiffer Sheets with me). The bathroom was even smaller and dirtier, with mold growing on the walls. Yes - the hotel is in a great location in Milan, but when the hotel is THIS gross, who cares?!?!? So, I recommend you stay anywhere else - because it can't be any worse than this place.

Hotel is in a great spot in the center of Milan. Useful for a night or two but I wouldn't stay for very long. Staff aren't the most welcoming but some can be coaxed into providing useful and helpful information.
Rooms are standard and cool be sure to contact hotel directly as rates can vary I think. This hotel is mainly about location.
