My first impression of the hotel was average and it only went downhill from there onwards. The hotel is situated 20 mins on tram ride to the Duomo. Definitely not a short stroll.
The room we were given had a broken shower head and the room was only equipped with the bare minimum, definitely not a 4 star hotel.
The staff was not friendly. So luckily our stay was short. This is definitely a 2.5 star hotel.

I stayed in Admiral Hotel from 14/12/05 till 18/12/05 . The hotel is 4 Stars officially, but from my opinion its more likely to be a 3 star .
Stuff are very friendly and nice though not all the stuff speak English . Even you can find a recptionist speaking only Italian , but this didn't cause any communication problem though !
All the rooms are Double . I booked online for 60 Euros per night . The room size is good. Not a 4 star furniture and decoration , but its ok. Some floors are renovated and others not yet. I was staying in the 1st floor ( Not renovated ) , so if you have the choice , ask for a room in a renovated floor . Not big difference , but nicer.
As I traveled by Car from Austria to Milan , so it was important for me to have a free parking , and they have their own free Garage .
Free wireless and cable broadband is available in the reception as well.
The hotel is directly infront of Milano Fierra (The exhibition ground of Milano City).Tram 19 is available directly from infront of the hotel to the city center , takes around 20 minutes.
