Hotel centrally located in the shopping district. The easiest comparison I can think of (for londoners) is living on tottentam court road literally next to oxford street. Metro station located 3 min walk away. Although the walk down to Duomo only took me 30 min.

Hotel is in the same building with a cinema. Small reception area, basic hotel. Not affected by the sound from cinema though.

I stayed in a twin bed room. Room are quite spacious, with safe, and nice 32 inch TV. Nicely air-conditioned. Bed are comfortable. Shower is ok. As my room is facing the main street, it get noisy pretty early in the morning.

Breakfast was disappointing!! It is quite a small hotel, the breakfast room is small, limited choice of food. Basic food like toast, simple pastries. COLD hard boiled egg. I actually seen a few people who left the breakfast room straight after seeing the food available.

Adjacent to hotel have plenty of restaurants. The hotel recommended Azura Grill 2 block down, which serve excellent food.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget and business. Not for Honeymoon or treat though. You are paying the price for a relatively centrally located hotel.

Nice hotel, at the near end of the great street Corso Buenos Aires and the shopping area starts there! When you walk down this street which goes over in the Corso Venezia, you enter the old city centre with the Duomo etc. Very beautifull spot! We walked from the train station (Milano Stazione Centrale) to the Hotel St George at the Vialle Tunesia; this was not that far. The hotel offers good service, the breakfast was ok and the room was refurbished a few years ago.

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of November, the hotel is a great location, 15 minute walk from the Central train staion and a short walk to the centre of Milan approx 30 mins to the Duomo.
The hotel was basic, to be honest i would rate as a 3 star really, the rooms are very basic and the beds were quite hard, however the staff were friendly and when we requested extra towels and pillows they were very efficent to get them for us.
One advantage is that wifi is free and easy to connect to, also the rooftop view of Milan from our terrace was lovely, although the patio door did make us nervous as it was accessible to everyone from outside.
One moan was the breakfast, this was a very basic continental selection, 4 cereals, toast, 2 pastry choices, 1 salami stick and 2 cheeses!
I would recommend going to the local supermarket and stocking up, this was a 10 min walk away by the Sheraton
Overall we had a great stay, but that was mainly due to us being out and about

We were only stopping in Milan for one night on our way to Venice, so we wanted a convenient hotel between railway station and town centre - and St. George's fitted the bill perfectly. It was really easy to find from the railway station - about a 20 minute walk down some beautiful avenues, and it was also a really easy 30 minute walk or so to central Milan. Possibly more of a locals area late at night, but next door to a cinema and round the corner from possibly the best pizza we've ever eaten!
We arrived before lunch so our room wasn't quite ready - however they happily offered us the option of changing and freshening up in the stylish bar area and to look after our case, which was great. Our room was facing the back of the building, so we didn't really notice any kind of noise issue, it was small but very clean, with a really comfortable double bed, effective air conditioning and a deep shower.
Breakfast was a continental affair, plenty of choice with cereals, pastries, eggs, breads etc.
