The trip was a business trip and as the Crowne Plaza brand is generally designed around those of business travel mind, this is a sleek, comfortable, basic yet satisfactory hotel. The check in is quick, the rooms have everything that you could need (Except an in room iron, business people need an ironed shirt!), the beds are comfy and the bathroom is fine if not a bit cramped. My only quibble with the rooms and in fact the hotel in general is the WiFi. Why in the modern age when you are in a business aimed hotel and paying a premium for the privelage should you have to pay for the Wireless connection? You can generally get it for free at any Bar and to be honest, most other hotels i have visited recently.
Anyway, on another note, the breakfast is fantastic, a blend of cereals, yoghurts, meats (cold and cooked) eggs 2 ways, pastries and fruit. As far as i am aware there is only a buffet option but this only applies for breakfast.
Lunch & Dinner: Never ate these here so couldnt comment.
Bar - Well, its a bar! Paul the barman (Londoner in Milan) very attending and a good host.
As i am a Priority club member i was expecting bits and bobs but these never really came to fruition which was a shame as i am beginning to wonder what the point is!
From the hotel and you want to get to the downtown area of Milan (Duomo or Narville) you will be looking at around 20 euros each way, not too bad really!
Essentially not much to complain about, just could do it a bit better!
