It is just across the road from train and metro station, many nice restaurants around the corner and this is the ONLY selling point.
Yes the rooms are clean - but would you not expect it from a 4* hotel? The decor has not been revamped since the late 70's.

They seem to focus on Group or Business Customers but they have a terrible check-in system that takes about 10 minutes to process each customer and they don't staff despite knowing large groups arrival time...
45 minutes after checking in and being in my room, i went out for a walk... some people from my group were still queuing!!!
Unacceptable.

During my week-long stay in the Atahotel I witnessed 3 other occasions where groups - business customers were waiting for ages at check in

I stayed in this hotel when visiting the Milan furniture fair, at which point it had pushed up its rates to ridiculous levels. While I understand that hotels must benefit from times like these, the service of this hotel is absolutely terrible.

First of all, I was given an ordinary room when I had booked on the executive floor. This was changed reluctantly after a protest. Secondly, when I came back dog tired from the fair, I found my room had not been cleaned! I had to fetch up the manager who then got it done late in the evening.

The decor of the lobby is ridiculous..like a bad Russian interior from the 70s. All rexine and plastic.

On the plus side, the location (opposite the Garibaldi station) is great for Rho Fiera. Also Corso Como ( a minute's walk) offers great dining choices.

Great location, across the street from the metro and train station. Room was clean, Breakfast for great.

This place was probably built in the 80s to compete with international chain business hotels like Hilton etc, however since then time has taken its toll and it sure needs a refurbishing to remain in the league it was aspiring to be in. However, not a big problem for me, but if you like shiny glamour, go somewhere else.
It is located conveniently at a metro line stop + regional train station and not too far away from the city center. The room I had was spacious, the a/c was quietly efficient, the windows kept the noise outside which is remarkable due to the numerous constructions ongoing in the vicinity. The breakfast buffet had a nice choice and looked quite fresh.
BUT: at checkout they had two people managing the front desk (and the hotel is quite big) so I had to queue up for a striking 15 minutes!! (see picture!) This sucks!!
