It is a clean, good tasted, with all modern facilities, with a very good breakfast and in a very, very convenient location (in the centre of the city, exactly next to the Metro station). Also, the parking is very convenient.

When we arrived the check in was quite quick and we were met with a smile, the hotel is in a great location, after our flight i fancied a bath before going out and about, to my horror the water filling the bath was brown and yellow, we called reception who tried to help but they couldnt understand what we were saying to my partner had to go downstairs to get someone to come up and have a look and move us rooms (they said it was because only half the hotel was used at this time of year but didnt explain why we were over that side), after the handy man visited our room we were moved to a lower floor, this room vibrated everytime a train passes underneath, which is nearly every 5minutes, we ate in the restaurant one night as most restuarants in Milan close around the new year period and the food tasted awful, i had tagetilli with mushrooms and it was cold, so we decided to venture out after that, we found a gorgeous indian restuarant (out the hotel and turn right and then turn right down the first street and its on the left hand side of the road) best indian i have ever had, and we were offered liquiers and lots of little things to try out while we waited for our meal.

The good things about the hotel is the location, it is near the underground (perhaps too near) and its on the main shopping street, with decent sized rooms and very friendly staff. I would stay again but ask for a room higher up.

Underground and train station very close by, excellent restaurant in the surrounding area, very confortable rooms, a great variety of choices for breakfast and affordable in-house restaurant. Altogether a very confortable stay.

The Pro's - This hotel has incredible architecture, and is within relatively easy walking distance to the Cathedral and the shops around it. It is also located on one of the main shopping strips - if you are after Guess, Dolce & Gabbani, Gucci etc, this is your hotel! Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful - very quick to meet your needs. Breakfast is hot and cold and very plentiful. Wifi coverage in room is excellent. There is also a day spa located in the lobby of the hotel however we did not have time to take advantage so I can't comment. There is also a computer just outside the breakfast room which has a printer attached which we truly appreciated as we needed to print driving directions to Zurich.
The Con's - The hotel is located right on top of the subway, so distant rumblings and vibrations do occur intermittently. The inside of the rooms are a little disappointing - they need a little updating, and ours, at least, was quite dim. The other small issue we had was really actually our fault - when I booked I must have scrolled too far and accidentally selected a smoking room (we are both reformed smokers). The room, although clean, really did stink. The smell was actually quite overpowering and I had to wonder if it had ever been aired out - lucky we only had a couple days left on out trip, as everything we owned stunk of cigarette including all our clothes.
