this is a great hotel. the breakfast was excellent and the staff helpfull and very friendly, and the price was good i would highly recommend this hotel. ive travelled a lot around europe and this is the best ive stayed in trust me this hotel is quality

Nice hotel, good service. The location close to the train station was convenient when coming, and close to the subway, even if it would be nicer to be closer to the city centre.

Hotel Berna is one of the best I have stayed in. I have stayed in many hotels all over the world in my 12 years of traveling and I have been truly impressed by this well-oiled organisation. From the personalized Welcome leaflet (with wifi details, weather forecast, etc), the friendly staff, the well stocked Continental breakfast, great location, to the little detail touches such as daily print out of news in major countries in local langauages, weather for the day in the lift! A lot of other hotels charge a lot more for a lot less!

I would like to congratulate the Hotel Berna team for a very well run hotel.
I will definitely return to Hotel Berna whenever I return to Milano.

We stayed here for one night and chose the hotel as it was near the train station. Good location for that, and easy access to the centre of Milan.
Service from reception was excellent, and the service continued with pre arrival and follow up emails.
A couple of gripes: in my booking I had asked for a room with twin beds for my daughter and I, and on arrival, was told that we had an "upgrade" to a room with a king bed. Luckily there was a sofa bed available so my daughter used that.Then we were located on the ground floor in a room with a window which outlined the silhouettes of passers-by which was a bit disconcerting for 2 females.I think a higher floor would have made us feel more secure.
Free non alcoholic drinks in the mini bar was a nice touch.
