We stayed at the UNA Tocq hotel for only one night in order to catch an early morning train from the nearby station, Milano Garibaldi. We were pleasantly surprised by the quietness of the room considering all of the construction and nightlife in the vicinity of the hotel. We had a little difficulty finding our hotel because it is tucked into a little side street around the corner from a much bigger hotel and all of the construction near the train station. Once the construction across the street is finished it will be quite easy to reach the train station perhaps without even crossing the street. The restaurant street, Corso Como, just 1/2 block from the hotel was a great find and no additional noise came from that area. I noticed that there was a club next door to the hotel, but it was closed in August when we were staying at the hotel. The room that we stayed in was very spacious with nice amenities, slippers, designer toiletries, etc. There was a lot of storage space and a nice sofa for lounging in the room. However the modern light wood furniture did have some noted wear. The bathroom was very spacious but in our particular room the large bathtub had a lot of mold around the edges. This was surprising considering the cleanliness everywhere else in the room. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel because of our early train departure but at check in and again in the morning as we left early we were offered coffee by the welcoming hotel receptionist.

Hotel was very great, i have been in a suite with little kitchen, 2 TV and big bathroom! The breakfast was very good, but with poor choice of fruit! Hotel is near Corso Como and near modern lounge bars and very young people all around..... great shops and little restaurants! I hope will go back next time...

I spent few days in this Hotel. Positive: 1) The hotel is well kept and clean 2) The rooms are quite big. 3) The staff is extremely kind and helpful. 4) The breakfast is ok 5) The metro and the train station is just 200 meters away
Negative: 1) The location: The hotel is located in a very busy and noisy place 2) there is a disco just in front: if your room is located in that direction, you will feel the music just inside your room 3) The shower is just protected by a plastic tent 4) The price is quite high for what the hotel is offering (I have payd 175 euros per night).

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for just one night, in October 2010. We chose to stay there because we like design hotels and it is close to corso como, a new mainstream area. We booked the room through Splendia and we also checked what other visitors had said at tripadvisor's webpage. Our experience however wasn't very positive. First of all, it was very difficult to reach and find it, by car. Also, our room was not as shown in the pictures of the hotel. It was big and spacious but not what you expect for a design hotel. It was our third time in Milan. The first time, we had stayed at Mediolanum hotel and the second time at Watt Tredici. Compared to them, the una hotel tocq is our least favorite.
We didn't also like the fact that we had to pay 20 Euro for parking and 6 euro for 1/2 hour internet access. The hotel is indeed next to via corso como and there are plenty of bars in that area, but this can not be a good reason for us to change our opinion.
