Recently booked this hotel on booking.com in total error and did not notice what the actual dates were set incorrectly and was originally booking for two nights. Would not be in Europe at all during the time the website default setting was put in. The booking did not specify that the charge would be prepaid before arrival.

Spoke to the reception about the issue and they were not willing to listen at all even thought it was a genuine mistake and having to cop a $100 bill that would never eventuate and won't be staying there at all. Could not provide a goodwill refund or any other solutions to help at all.

If anyone wants a free accomodation at this hotel for one night, let me know. Happy to provide you at least then wont be wasting the one night at the hotel.

If you are looking to take a city break to Milan may i recommend the Hotel Soperga. We booked through booking.com and everything was fantastic. The location, a flat street, around 300 metres from the main Railway station, Metro lines and buses and trams, is ideal. The hotel offers a large open friendly reception with a bar and loads of comfortable sofa seating. The reception staff all speak English and will happily recommend places to see, restaurtants etc. the rooms are spotless. Sheets, bedlinen and towels changed everyday. Flatscreen TV with SKY (pay to view for Movie and Sports Channels). Most channels in Italian (because you´re in Italy!) with a few English choices. Spotless bathroom with shower and hair dryer. Double glazed new windows with security / night shutter. Air con and full heating too. Everything was great. The breakfast room (just refurbished) offers a good choice of continental breakfast (coissants, rolls, cold sliced meats, cheese, fruit (fresh and tinned), yoghurts, jams and honey, cereals, juice machine and waiter service for endless coffee, cappachino, expresso, tea and anything else you want! Ideally located for numerous pizza restaurants. Our recommendation is to come out of the hotel and go RIGHT. cross the street and immedaitely there (pink sign) is a great restaurant. Excellent prices. Pizzas (HUGE) from 5 euros. Pasta dishes from 4.00 euros. Puddings from 3.00 euros. Places to see: Duomo in Duomo Piazza is a MUST. Huge cathedral full of history. Amazing. Go to LAKE COMO but go YOURSELF on the train. Fraction of the cost of an organised tour. Go to Foxtown Shopping Mall in Switzerland for the afternoon (for Gucci, Prada and Ralph Lauren etc!). Outlet with many bargains! Go to BERGAMO. Fabulous city. Excellent Hotel. Lovely City. Had a marvelous time!

Stayed for only one night, so I got just a quick impression.

Location - 5-7 minutes from the Central station, which was especially convenient when we arrived to Milan after midnight and needed a hotel as close to Milano Centrale as possible.
Room - rather basic and dark, but clean. It would definitely benefit from renovation: the wallpaper unstuck from the walls in a couple of places; the air conditioner seemed to come from the last century.
Breakfast - not too much to choose from, but I didn't expect more at this price.
Staff - could be friendlier. They just did their job, not a single extra smile to the client.

To sum it up - I'd say that for the price I paid the hotel is okay if you only need a quiet and clean place to sleep.

I stayed a couple of night at Hotel Soperga and was very pleased with my stay. The hotel is very clean, my room was a nice size, maybe a tad noisy as it was overlooking the main road. The hotel as a deal for car parking with a place in the next street along which is very convenient.
