The location of this hotel is perfect - just a 5 minute walk to the Duomo and multiple tram/subway lines. We went in December and our sixth floor room was very hot. Turning off the heater didn't do much, so we resorted to leaving the window open while we were in the room. Amenities are nice, with a few exceptions: there is a trouser press but no iron/ironing board. There are bathroom toiletries (razor, toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, cotton swabs), but no lotion or hair conditioner. There is a hair dryer and heated towel rack in the bathroom, Housekeeping was thorough and efficient. The front desk staff are very pleasant. There is a complimentary buffet breakfast in the basement with hot foods, eggs, cereals, coffees, fruit, etc. The quality is average - about what you'd expect from a free buffet breakfast - but it's a rare treat in Italy and a helpful way to start your day.
