The restaurant is a little bit to slow in the service and serving not so tasty food, otherwise the stuff on the reception is friendly, the rooms are OK.

Stayed two nights in a renovated standard room on 6th floor. The breakfast was superb with good service and the reception desk personnel were friendly. The location just a couple of hundred meters from Duomo and all the shops was great. Only the in-room wifi did not work (and was payable..) but that didn't much matter because in the lobby you get to use it for free.

Without a doubt I would recommend staying at the President...you can't beat the location! The hotel is right in the middle of Milan and walking distance to the Duomo, all the major shopping areas and attractions. It took 10 minutes in a taxi from the main Milan train station to get to the hotel, but if you didn’t have a lot of luggage you could use the metro (Duomo station). The hotel is modern and the rooms very comfortable. I didn’t find the rooms small when compared to other European hotels and the room had all the amenities you would need. The staff were welcoming and happy to help.

The location of this hotel is very good, and the rooms are fine (small, but well equipped and the updated rooms have good decor).

However, this is not set up as a business hotel. The service is slow and rude and they do not have pressing/ironing facilities in the rooms. This is quite common and you have to call down for an ironing board, but they only have one for the entire hotel so if you have a shirt that needs ironing, buy one.
