I went to Milan for Xmas 2011 and chose this hotel due to it location - 5 minutes walk to the Duomo. the reception were very efficient and friendly, and I was in my room within minutes.

My room was modern minimalist, beautifully designed, almost brand new with no scuffs, marks anywhere. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was very confortable and the linen excellent quality.

Breakfast on the first floor was very well supervised. The cappucino was excellent as was the range of food on offer. No-one could have any companits about the range of choice.

I was going to drive to Venice for New Years eve and had no plans for the 5 days in between. I asked the lady on reception Grazia - who was so helpful. She suggested I go skiing in Ortesei, a resort she had been to 2 weeks before and knew had snow. She helped to chose a hotel, made the booking for me and even printed out maps of how to get there and then onto Venice.

She could not have been more helpful - and her English was perfect. Ortesei proved a perfect destination just as she had recommended.

Location. As I say 5 minutes walk to teh Duomo, but more importantly the 73 bus from the airport stops right outside - 1 Euro 50 ! A taxi when I arrived from Linate to the hotel was 12 Euros, so not bad either way, As I saw the bus while I was there, I decided to be adventurous and try it back to the airport - simplicity itself !
