I stayed at this hotel during a business trip. This hotel is a mix of positives and negatives. The restaurant on the main floor is very convenient and when breakfast is included it is a great deal. The breakfast includes cakes, fresh fruit, eggs, potatoes, meat, juice, and Lavazza coffee and espresso. I arrived Sunday and the restaurant was closed for dinner, but the staff prepared me a margarita pizza and glass of wine which was great. Overall, the staff is very friendly. I ran into a couple of incidents, however. First incident - the hair dryer was broken. They brought a new one to my room (took 30 minutes), and then left it on the dresser without installing it to the wall. So, every morning, I had to blow dry my hair with this giant plastic box hanging off of my hair dryer and bumping into the counter. It was very annoying. Also, I lost one of my internet passcodes, and for some reason they could only generate a second pass code for me for 48 hours. The original one had lasted an entire week, through the end of my stay. Also, they have no cups in the room for water, which I found odd. If you ask for a cup in the lobby they will give you one, but of course I always forgot to do this until I was already in my PJs ready for bed. My room was not one of the updated ones, but the important things, which are a comfortable bed and a working hot shower, worked just fine.

Nice amenities and good for one off stay but far away from city buzz and located on busy road.
Need to travel by bus or tram for atleast 30-40 mins through concrete jungle.
Overall nice breakfast buffet, Staff just OK but no service with smile.

This is my second stay there (was last June) and I have the impression things are getting worse. This hotel was previously a Holiday Inn, maybe not up to their standards?

Pros: close to my business locations, I sleep well there, air conditioning is working well, room is quite large, there is a Sky Italia box in the room (nice for those who care). The breakfast buffer is not what I like, but it's not that bad.

Cons: everything else! The infrastructure is just lacking the care it would need. Bathroom is old and would need repairs, amenities are ridiculous for a supposedly 4* hotel (just shampoo & soap, that's it). Disconnected cables (RJ-11 from the telephone was down, sure it's broken), telephone facilities not working (wake-up, unable to join reception, my wife was unable to call me from outside, they pretend they had a fault on the PBX, but still not everything fixed 24 hours later).

Also note that their Internet access while usually working is quite overloaded and not really convenient to use for my business needs. It's included in the room's price.

I would definitely not stay here if my customer wasn't so close to the location.
