I stayed 2 nights here, and was very pleased with this hotel. The check-in was very efficient and easy, and the room I had was very large, in fact it actually was a bed-room, plus a large lounge with a sofa, plus a bathroom, plus an entry hall. So almost a full apartment.
The hotel is very close to the Pasteur metro station, (this is on the Red Line), so if you are coming from Linate Airport, there is a cheap city bus from Linate to S.Babila where you can connect from the bus to the Red Line Metro very easily.
If you are on a budget (like me LOL) there is a good cheap supermarket just a couple of blocks from the hotel (walk back towards the metro station).
You can also walk from this hotel to the main train station in Milan (probably a 30 minute walk).
Breakfast was fairly basic, and they bring you the coffee (so you can't really help yourself). The food selection was fresh cold meats and cheeses, and some pastries and cakes.
To get to the main down-town area, you can either take a metro or walk down Buenos Airies, and it takes about 30 minutes or so.
I would definetly use this hotel again, and would happily reccomend it to anyone.

Hotel is very close to the Pasteur Metro, only about 3-5 minutes walking. Close to the city centre, being only about 5 stops from the Duomo.

Clean, large rooms with another room that includes a desk, fridge and a sofa, a luxury for budget hotels in Milan.

Breakfast is accaptable altough nothing special. Staff is friendly and helpfull.

What I didin't like is that WIFI is only free from the hotel's computer near the reception. To have the WI-FI in your room you have to buy a card, and once you enter the card, even tough you might have time left, the card will expire in 24 hours.

Will stay again.

The Pasteur reminded me of some old New York hotel – looks very depressing.
It’s hard to find a place in Milan.

The hotel is just old and out-dated. The carpet is over 50 years old. The room smelled like old cigarettes. The decor is just depressing. The TV didn’t work. The mini bar was empty. The area is not that great but not too far from the action. (15mins walk).

It was my last stop after travelling around Italy for 2 weeks and this was the worst place I had slept in. I found some gorgeous hotel at similar prices.

If I go to Milan again, I will probably go to the Best Western down the road for a better place at similar price.

Have been staying at this Hotel for the past 15 years....safe family atmosphere, warm & helpful staff, delicious breakfast, great location, would NOT stay anywhere else - nice big rooms too. Have sent many friends and all very satisfied.
