This hotel is ideally situated for folks who want to explore the Mantova area as most of the sights are within easy walking distance. Moreover, the hotel offers secure parking free of charge. Our room was on the 3rd floor and the wi-fi connection was very poor however in the public rooms on the ground floor wi-fi was good. The staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel infrastructure just needed some TLC as the decor was rather drab and lighting in the bedroom poor.

This hotel is in a very convenient location just outside the restricted zone. Very easy to find from the highway and the free parking behind the hotel was good.
Reception was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable with lots of storage, something you don`t always get. The bathroom was quite large and modern.
Breakfast had the usual assortment of meat, cheese, rolls and croissants. Free wifi was very useful.
Room had a sideways view of the Duomo and the hotel location was also handy for the Palazzo Te at the other end of town.
Was one of our more expensive hotels but Mantua is expensive and we felt the location and convenience was worth it.

This hotel has a 1960s charm. It's one of those old-fashioned hotels that I hope never change. It's centrally located, about a 5-minute walk or so to the very center of the centro storico. There is a lift and parking is very convenient, in back of the hotel in a secured lot. Our room was a good size and clean, with freshly painted white walls. We liked the persianas on the windows, which enabled to have a good, quiet night's sleep. The air conditioning worked well. Because of a mix-up, we didn't have breakfast, but even so, I'd rather opt out of it because you can always get something cheaper and better at neighborhood cafes anyway. We would stay here again with pleasure.

The Mantegna Hotel in Mantova is very close to the centre, with extremely friendly staff. Car parking is excellent at the back of the hotel. A good breakfast is provided. Rooms are a good size and clean. There is a lift for easy access to rooms.
