We stayed here for one night in October, 2011 and they get a lot of things right, but we did have a problem. First the problem--when we checked in the owner wrote a code down and said you'll need to enter this to open the gate to the parking lot and the front door to the hotel after hours. Fine, so we are returning from dinner at 10:30 or so, and the code doesn't work. After trying multiple times and various configurations and getting quite frustrated for about ten minutes, the owner came flying up and let us in. She needs to pay more attention to writing it out more legibly and maybe walking customers through the process, showing them how to do it and making sure that they can read the code and that it works upon check-in.
That being said, Anna did everything that she could of to apologize, and the Residenza is a lovely small hotel, with large, well appointed rooms and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Fresh baked goods of various sorts, meats, cheeses, fruit etc. I believe it is fairly new and there are a few improvements that could be made--the wifi wasn't working upstairs well enough to use, I think that one light switch controlled both bedside lights so that when my wife wanted to sleep, my light went off as well. Great bed, which is very important to us. Anna clearly cares about her business, and I think it will grow into an ideal place to stay.
