We have been visiting Stresa for the past five years. A town that has stood still and kept all its charm. The Hotel Saini has maintained its reputation of being very comfortable and homely, and one could not wish for a more charismatic man than Mr.Saini himself.
What is also unique and different to most hotels, is the provision of lovely crisp white linen bath and hand towels. We personally found these to be great and very practical. They definitely beat the shabby, frequently over used towels so often thrown in at some hotels.

Stayed at Hotel Saini in Stresa, Italy on the 24 and 25 of October. We had a room on the 2nd floor, over the street. Quiet room, nice sized, with a large private bath. The owner Gianni was a wealth of information, from the best places to eat (every place he recommended was great), how to get to the sights, and driving directions. His english is very good and he even let us borrow and umbrella the day it rained. Would highly recommend this hotel. Dave S.

I recently spent 2 nights at Hotel Saini Mueble as a quiet retreat before heading back to the States. Mr. Saini was extremely helpful and kindly answered many questions about the area. He speaks 3 or 4 languages so this was a plus. The hotel front faces a beautiful walking street and he has done wonders restoring this fascinating building. It was clean and quiet and I would recommend it as a wonderful family run hotel.

Having stayed at a much larger and more expensive hotel a few blocks away, we were delighted at the imtimacy of the Hotel Saini. Gianni made us feel right at home with the one on one service. The lobby is what drew us into the hotel. It was small and cozy. His recommendations for restaurants and several other places were just what we were looking for. On our final day he called a cab (at 6:00 am) and helped us with our luggage and had a breakfast "to-go" for us. The room was quiet and clean, but we are used to fluffy towels and they did not have any. (Guess we weren't use to the Italian customs). We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
