The hotel is simple and so are the rooms BUT the owners are trying so much , so helpful, like visiting your own family . They are really there for whatever you need.
They welcome their guests so nice .
The hotel is very close to the lake (just across the street) , go and sit by the lake and enjoy life. As a tip to peple who go to garda lake - Do not go to verone cascate - a real waste of time and money especially if you go to the dolomites.

This is a very small family run hotel. Clean, large rooms and bathrooms. It is outside of the 'town' but they let us borrow bikes (highly recommend....it was awesome!) and just did the 5 minute ride to town. We had a view of the lake.....we bought a bottle of wine and sat on the balcony and soaked up the atmosphere. Beautiful! Would stay there again.

We spent 5 days here and found it perfect as a base for golf and shopping ,the pool area is a real sun trap and very peaceful . The hotel is close enough to walk to the fabulous array of restraints .breakfast is varied and fresh I would certainly come again !

We just spent 4 nights at the Hotel Villa Rosa and the service was really excellent - the family who run the hotel are so helpful and friendly. Breakfast is very good and the room had a lovely balcony with lake views. The family suggested various days out all of which were excellent and we really liked staying in the Colombare area of Sirmione which we found much less touristy than the historic centre - while lovely it was very busy! Close by to the hotel are some lovely restaurants - we enjoyed the Malibu pizzeria across the road with wonderful lake views. We also had a lovely meal at Roberto's. We took the bus on several days out - to Verona, to Desanzano (fab market!) and also got the boat to Gardone to visit a lovely garden. We wished we had stayed longer as there was so much to do. We traveled from Milan by train to Desanzano - a very straightforward journey and got a taxi from the station to the hotel. On our return trip we caught the bus as we were much more familiar with the timetable! We do hope to return to Villa Rosa and Lake Garda - it is a lovely part of Italy.
