We -2 couples at 50's- spent 1 night here, that we regret. The rooms were panoramic, at the topmost floor. The view would probably be nice if we could go out to the balcony, but we couldn't! The mosquitos and all other kinds of flies had already invaded it. In clouds, I don' t exaggerate. I smoke 3 packs a day, and knowing that I could not smoke in the room, I had planned to go out to the balcony. But alas, it was impossible. I put on my raincoat, pulled my head cover, prepared my tea and went out to sacrifice myself. I could not last even 5 minutes! I received 2 shots from mosquitos, 3 flies fell into my tea-cup, and a spider walked in through my sleeves during that period. I barely saved myself by escaping in to the room, together with a gang of mosquitos. When I requested for a solution, the girl in the front desk told me while chewing her gum, that this is a matter of nature, and she could do nothing about it. Her manager said they will disinfect the area next day, although he was well aware that we would stay there only one night! The hotel was supposed to be freshly renovated, so why did they not put a sliding door with a net, I can not understand, because disinfection is not the solution in such cases. We use nets in our windows here in Turkey, but at least they could have provided insect defeating pluggable tablets or protective solutions to apply on the skin. But, they did none. So, we spent half of the night hunting mosquitos, beleive me. I hope we did not get Malaria, Hepatitis, or AIDS. At breakfast, we sat on a table and a few minutes later a lady came to tell us that the table was reserved. How rude! They are so reluctant as to put a "reserved" sign at tables, imagine. And then the coffee machine broke. They did not bother to put a sign on the machine and let people that arrived later queue in front of it in vain. They had prepared a number of tables for a group, and they also had not signposted them. Still, they could make faces when they spotted us taking food from there! A blind and deaf management employing ridiculous staff. I can not beleive they know anything about hospitaly industry, they are just plain village people that must have lost their kindness and generosity a long time ago. We have not seen a worse hotel in our lives.
