“perfect for families”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 December 2010

We stayed at the hitel in August 2010, 8 nights with 4 children, all undre 8 years old. The location is grteat, in the heart of the historical city, and near the beach of the lake. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The service was great. The best thing was the management- 2 sisters who are the nicest people we`ve met. They treated us great, they helped us a lot with the children, were very patient and fulfill all our requirements. I warmly recommend this hotel, especially to families with choldren.

“This is the kind of hotel we look for in Italy - just perfect!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2010

This hotel was so friendly and perfect, the kind of small, clean hotel we look for when traveling in Italy. This is a multi generation family run hotel that makes you feel so comfortable. It is spotlessly clean and roomy. Sisters Cristina and Paola are so friendly and helpful suggesting restaurants and any other information you need. The breakfast room on the top floor is lovely and breakfast consists of pastries, rolls, cold cuts, yogurts, etc. We had a street side room but with the windows and shutters closed and the A/C on you could not hear any street noise at all. We enjoyed our conversations with both Cristina and Paola about life on Sirmione and the history of their hotel started by their grandparents. Their very lovely mother helps out at the desk . The location could not be more perfect and it's just a short walk from the bus. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time in Sirmione and the Hotel Corte Regina.

“Delightful experience - made to feel very comfortable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 September 2010

I stayed at the Corte Regina with my teenage son and daughter during a 5-day visit to Lake Garda. The reports on Tripadvisor together with a few other websites convinced me the hotel delivered a consistently high quality service. Although room prices were not cheap, the cleanliness and general furnishing of the rooms were definitely worth the price we paid. When we arrived, it was immediately clear that one of the rooms would not really suit our needs. Christina (the owner/manager with her sister and mother) dealt with this in a very pleasant and helpful way even though it was probably me who had made the mistake. We soon were sorted out with an alternative and much more suitable room and the rest of the stay was pretty much in the same vein with the staff always on hand to help with anything we needed. Each room is individually furnished and breakfast is served in a converted roomy attic with fantastic views across the old town of Sirmione. We dined in excellent restaurants each evening - all within a short walk. Some might regard the church bells (across the street) starting to mark time at 8 in the morning but I thought it was charming. Otherwise the area was remarkably quiet at night so all slept well. Will definitely be back for another stay and lively chat with Christina about italian politics!!

“Perfect location, wonderful hosts.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 July 2010

We stayed two nights in a family room for 140 € per night. That's a bargain. The hotel is very nice and clean and our room was spacy and comfortable. The location is right in the middle of Sirmione's historical center, The beach is 80 meters away, and the hotel is surrounded bu narrow, charming streets with small shops, restaurants and gelaterias with the best ice cream I have ever tasted.

Still, the best thing about the hotel is that it is run by a charming and caring family. Paola and Christina and their mom. It seems they consider every guest part as of their family, and do all that they can to make sure the guests are satisfied.

If I am going back to the Garda area, I would definitely stay at Corte Regina again.

“very very nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 July 2010

I stayed at the corte regina for 4 nights and it was the most charming place. the hotel is family run and in what is probably the best location in the whole of Sirmione, right in the middle of the old town. our room was overlooking a quiet, pretty street and close to the village chiurch (the bells of which were the only thing that disturbed our afternoon naps). the room was not very big but clean and comfortable. breakfast was good too. highly reccomended!
