This year was the second time that we stayed at Hotel Marconi and as before, it was absolutely wonderful. The family Visani welcomed us back like we were part of the family. We had the most wonderful clean and spacious room facing the lake with a lovely balcony. The fact that you are right on the lake with no passing traffic, other than the ferries, is also special and an added bonus is that you can park at the hotel. Also, the fact that the hotel is right in the old town and that you can walk everywhere adds to the whole relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely recommend the Hotel Marconi to all our friends and family and plan on making another visit to the hotel on our next trip.

We loved our recent trip to Lake Garda! The highlight was HOTEL MARCONI and the wonderful family VISANI. I chose this hotel because it was "family run" and our experience exceeded expectations! The hotel is clean! The beds comfortable! The room we had was large. We were able to have a lovely balcony facing the Lake and the serenity and sunsets were superb! Nothing was a problem. Carlo greeted us warmly not only on our arrival but every time we saw him and he was so helpful with information regarding excursions we wanted to take eg. to the other end of the Lake via ferry and the best way to get to Verona for the day and regarding the nearby Spa. The breakfasts were fresh and beautifully spread out and variety - and fresh fresh orange juice! Lunch and dinner is available from a 'set' menu and the food was 'to die for'!!! Drinks and wines wonderful! Top value for money! I would recommend staying here if you want to RELAX!! (You could just stay in the Hotel grounds and have the BEST holiday!) Or as a base to explore the rest of the Lake. The ferry is just a few minutes' walk away. Lots to do, lots of restaurants everywhere. Lots of walking if you wish. Short boat rides nearby. Carlo even arranged for transfer for us to and from trains at a very reasonable price. Simply wonderful

We booked this hotel based on reviews on this website, and it came to our expectations. The staff was very nice and helpful, their recommendations were very good and surprising. The hotel is right in the middle of the old town, has a private parking next to the hotel (usually cars are not allowed in the old town). The breakfast was simple and tasty, on a terrase right on the lake. To conclude - I'll recommend this hotel to all my friends and family, and surly go back there when I'm in the area.

What a great hotel! Lakeside location with lounging deck and outdoor seating to watch the sunset over Lake Garda! Spacious rooms and the most wonderful food you can imagine. You need reservations for dinner as it fills up quickly and is worth the effort to Dine in a glass walled room overlooking the lake. Great friendly staff and super in the old city location. This is the place to stay in Sirmione!!
