Having looked on various websites to try and find a nice hotel to stay in when travelling to Sirmione with my boyfriend I eventually decided on this Hotel. Although it is located quite a distance from Sirmione itself the Hotel was very pleasant. The Swimming pool area was immaculately kept and they have lovely sun loungers. The rooms were standard but nice and all have a balcony. They Hotel do hire bicycles for free to guests if you don't have transport. Luckly we had a hire care and the hotel is located on the main road that heads to Verona so its quite easy to find. Its very hard to book a Hotel in an area you are very unfamiliar with but I must say I was very pleased with my choice. Staff weren't overly helpful either about excursions or things to do .. they just gave you a brochure. I asked for a skirt to be ironed one night and they brought me down to the basement and I had to iron it myself in an empty store room but that was all I could say negatively. They have a nice Hot tub, sauna downstairs also.

This hotel is perfect for couples/families to stay, its location is ideal for attractions and access to motorway (autostrada A4) Milan - Venice.
The cleanliness of the hotel throughout is immaculate, rooms are modern well fitted/equipped. The view of the lake from our terrace was gorgeous.
Breakfast (continental as you would expect) had a large variety menu, all of the freshest ingredients, had dinner here, fabulous. Great pool with ample sunbeds/shades.
Really friendly helpful staff, assisted in arranging accommodation for the rest of our holiday. Would fully recommend your hotel and look forward to returning in the future.
Don't miss a trip to the castle in old town Sirmione.

I have just returned from a week in Italy. I decided to book a short stay for my girlfriend and I at this hotel in Lake Garda as both the area and the hotel looked quite nice. Boy was I seriously disappointed. When I arrived in the reception I could see there was a dispute between the staff and a french couple over a mix-up with their room. It turned out the same was about to happen to us.

Instead of giving us a double superior with balcony which I booked on their website, we were given a double room on the ground floor. The staff were very unapologetic over the mistake and kept saying it was only for one night so it shouldn't matter. I found this attitude to be appalling and insensitive. After arguing with the staff for almost 20 minutes, they begrudgingly agreed to give us the room that I had actually booked. The balconies themselves only face east or west and you have to crane your neck to see the Lake as the main view is of other hotels, a busy road and a building site.

There were no bins in the room and the hotel itself is in the middle of nowhere at least 30 mins from Sirmione. On the whole I found the staff to be unpleasent, especially after the mix-up over our room. The lady who was at the desk seemed very reluctant and inconvenienced by my enquiries about local transport in the area, maps etc. Having made the trek to and from Sirmione, I was hoping to eat at the hotel, yet they stop serving at 8.30pm, I arrived just ten minutes after the restaurant had closed, thinking 8.30 was a bit early to close, I was forced to get a lousy takeaway as their room service only included snacks. My girlfriend and I couldn't wait to leave the next day for Verona which was so much better.

I would not advise anyone to stay at this hotel, it is in a bad location on a busy road that is even noisy at night. The standard of service offered by the staff is very poor. The only good thing I can say about it is the breakfast isn't too bad. I'm not a particularly fussy person but I was disappointed by the misrepresentation, thinking I had booked a double room with balcony only to be lumped with a room on the ground floor. Having stayed in Venice a few days before, this hotel paled in comparison to the level of service I received there.

If you are thinking about staying in Lake Garda I would advise booking a hotel in Sirmione itself or even going to one of the bigger towns like Bardoline, Riva Del Garda or Limione.

Lovely, hotel, approx 30min walk to the centre of Sirmione, or you can catch the local bus. Rooms are a good size, and come complete with fridge, and large balcony. Large pool which was cleaned daily, great for a relaxing break.
