I stayed at this hotel in low season (late November). The hotel was really close to the train station (Como San Giovanni) and a right next to the lake.
I requested a single room with a view of the lake (as I was working near Milan and wanted to get awway at the weekend). I actually got a small double room with a juliet balcony with an amazing view of the mountains and the lake.
The room itself was an adaquate size for one, clean and fairly contemporary and the bathroom again was modern and a nice size. The numerous mirrors around the bathroom and room helped make the room look larger.
It should be noted though that the bathroom was more of a wetroom rather than a seperate shower / bath.
Breakfast was included within the price, and consisted of croissants, toast, yoghurts, cereals, fruit and some cooked things as well....pretty decent I would say. And in addition, the building that the restaurant is in was lovely, looked really historic but without being old fashioned and dated.
(sleep quality I have rated average as with the floor to ceiling window, I did get a bit cold - closing the shutter is however an option, but not one I chose given the amazing view)
Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable and in a great location. For the price I paid, it was definitly worth it.
Room Tip: Request a lake view - I was in room 28.
