We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and highly recommend it. The view from out 2nd floor balcony is by far the best we have ever had. Our room was very nice as was the rest of the facility. The front desk was friendly and helpfull. About the only negative was that the breakfast was not real great. But, you can take your breakfast up to your balcony and eat it in that great setting. Did I mention anything about the great view?

We stayed at Il Perlo back in September 2011. The hotel had an amazing view of the Lake.
It is a simple and cozy place. The family who owns the hotel tries everything to make you feel home. The bedroom is fine and all have a view to the lake. Our had a balcony, although very wind. The bathroom was quite small, particularly the shower.
In the evenings, after day trips to the towns around you can seat at the garden and enjoy the snack meal with a bottle of wine.
I recommend Il Perlo if you are looking after a very warm and cozy place to stay without any luxury.

There were four of us in our group so we reserved the family room which was a double bed up stairs and two single beds down stairs. The view was absolutely stunning, both at night and during the day. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but I also think that was the best part about it. We ferried the car a crossed the lake and drove around exploring other towns. Breakfast was lacking a little, but all in all it was a great place to stay.

The best thing about this hotel is the view of lake Como, so when you book a room, make sure it has a lake view - we stayed in the Junior Suite.
The room was great! Large and comfortable. The bathroom was ok, but basic. The shower could be a bit bigger. Breakfast is reasonable - bread, mortadella, and baked goods. Juices and coffee come from large machines, and could be better.
The service was mixed. It is a family-run hotel, run by a mother and son. The mother tried to be very helpful, but was not able to handle technical issues that came up (wi-fi, coffe machine etc.). The son is more technically savvy, but is not as helpful as his mother.
Value i great for the money!
