The hotel has a fantastic location, few steps from everything, but rooms need an upgrade and other services request an emergency maintence. Front desk girl was not very friendly, makes us feel unwelcome.
I will consider other hotels next time, there are many around the area.

This was the start of our 2-week trip and it was a great hotel. Full breakfast, ample room, adequate lobby with leather couches, opens onto a sweet Piazza, just around the corner from a cute lunch place and another huge Piazza. Central and walkable to everything. Quiet. Beds a bit hard and flat. Windows opened to a beautiful view of the Piazza with a Saturday market. I loved this place.

This hotel was VERY loud - our room overlooked one of the courtyards where there were several outdoor restaurant / bars. The noise from these courtyards was very loud until 2:00 AM or later each night. Furthermore, the hotel itself had seemingly thin walls and lots of noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms. Our family slept terribly there. Everything else about the hotel was average.

Despite this, the location of the hotel is fantastic and convenient. Cremona is a gem.

The hotel has a superb location. We could see the Duomo by craning our necks out the window, and just below is a lively piazza with lots of cafes. There must be soundproofing on the windows because we didn't hear anything. Our room was comfortable, tastefully furnished, and the air conditioning worked well. Everything was sparkling clean. Breakfast was average with the usual Tang orange juice and bad coffee. The coffee was pretty much undrinkable. Parking is a bit a of a drawback, in a garage perhaps 300-400 meters from the hotel, but we got perfect directions from the woman at the front desk, so had no problem finding it. When we were checking out they sent a man to pick up the car and deliver it to us, which was very helpful. This hotel would be our first choice when we return to Cremona.
