Well, to start with the mean reason to stay there is the easy access from the motorway Milan - Venice, although parking your rented car can be difficult on the tiny parking lot. The hotel was build in 1964. And this 1960 style is still to be found throughout the hotel.
The hotel is located direct near a very busy road into Bergamo. And when you have a room on that side, you surely will close the window at six.
The room is comfortable, but nothing fancy. It has no safe to put in your valuables. Although the hotel lobby is a smoking free area, you are still allowed to smoke in your room, I noticed from the presence of an ashtray.
To shower in a bathtub with no curtain is a constant battle not to wet the whole bathroom. Perhaps It was intended to make you shower very shortly.
Breakfast is not what guests nowadays are used to get. But it is fine.

“Don't bother - terrible.”
At least 20 minutes walk from the train station, lots of faded dark red, yellow and black decor, musty smell to our room. No safe for valuables, requested reception place our passports in the hotel safe but was advised they did not have one and they then placed them in the mail pidgeon hole of which time I declined to leave them. Staff not very helpful. Breakfast very unappetising.

“Nice hotel”
The hotel itself is very nice, with a beautiful, old fashioned decoration. The staff is helpful and alway very kind, the breakfast buffet has a variety of local specialities.
The main disadvantage of the hotel is that it is located on a very busy road, the traffic starts mooving at 6 in the moring, and from than it is really loud there. On the other side, if you are travelling by car, the hotel is very easy to find as it is a few 100 meters from the highway exit. You can reach the main attractions of Bergamo by walking to the train station ( ca 500 meters) and taking the bus from there.
