The Best Western in Bergamo is located at the heart of the new 'lower' town in Bergamo. It is a short walk to the train station (10 minutes) and about 15 minutes walk to the funicular railway station to get to the old 'higher' town. There is a bus stop just outside going to the old 'higher' town direct and also the other way to the airport directly.

The staff are extremely friendly and speak excellent English, left luggage was no problems and registration gave a choice of pillows and free Wi-Fi Internet.

We stayed in rooms with twin single beds, they were of a good size and nice bathroom. Flat screen TV, Toiletries, MiniBar etc, all that you expect.

I couldn't fault the hotel at the price we paid.

The breakfast was excellent, a great selection of hot and cold food served as a help yourself buffet. There were some really tasty local foods.

I would certainly stay here again to take advantage of the cheap RyanAir flights and the wonderful town of Bergamo. Trains to Milan being only 5-6 Euros, it is a perfect place to stay.

I really like this hotel. Very friendly receptionists. Rooms small but very nice and clean. Breakfast was good and the location of this hotel is fab. The bus stops right outside for going to the airport or citta alta. have stayed here on a few occasions now.

Stopped in this hotel in a recent trip to Bergamo. We were there for 2nights, and checked in early on the day of arrival to be told our room was ready for us, which was an added bonus. The hotel is central and is also very close (5-10 minutes walk) from the train station. The receptionists were veryf riendly and couldnt do enough for us during our stay.
We had breakfast and WiFi included in our booking. The breakfast is brilliant and alot to choose from. There is an option for lunch, we didnt take this option, however judging by the number of locals who were passing through to take lunch, the food must also be good at lunchtimes.
The room itself was big enough, with plenty of TV channels if required. All bathroom amenities are included aswell as coffee, tea etc. A brilliant hotel with brilliant members of staff.
We left our baggage in the hotel after we had checked out, and it was stored away in a safe place and we were re-issued with it when we were ready to get a cab to the airport. The hotel do offer the option of calling a taxi to Bergamo airport at a fixed rate of €16.

Excellent choice for those who want to take off from Bergamo Airport. Friendly staff at the reception. Special note for the breakfast starting hour: 6.30 a.m., so that I could fly without an empty stomach. Rich breakfast, too. The room did not face the street, so not noisy at all.
