we had a triple room for 140€ at the end of july. it was big enough and had air conditioning. i could see into other rooms that were even bigger. it is a very beautiful walk down hill into town. 10 to 15 min. if you go during temps of 35º like we did the walk BACK up hill is not so fun. also there is a part of the walk that is directly ON the curvey street. we sort of plastered ourselves against the stone walls when cars passed us.
the staff we found helpful, the breakfast basic. i really love italian coffee and was a bit bummed to get machine coffee every morning. i guess that is the trend nowadays?
if you bring a car, it is best if you leave it there and walk to the town for a bus or the train. the parking for the hotel could handle about 6 cars and when we got there all the cars were double parked. we had to leave our car keys wih the staff in case they needed to move it.
