After a succession of excellent but similar restaurants, it was refresing to find a more contemporary approach. The dishes are built around the day's best ingreduents, rathe than the traditional menu. We had a type of sea bass deliverd that morning with a pistacchio crust and frsh vegatables, prawn carpaccio on a bed of finocchio cut like a fine pasta with raspberries, John Dory with carmelized onions, and a very well priced Friuliano. Service was excellent - a knowledgeable waiter happy to explsin the dishes and techniques. The atmosphere is charmingly simple and the pace relaxed. A great find.
