My partner and I stayed at this hotel (don't quite know why it's listed as a B&B when it's more of a mini-hotel, but how and ever) as we were attending a friend's wedding in St Margarita de Ligure. The Albergo is situated on the 5th floor of an apartment-like building in central Rapllo. We were concerned there would be no parking, but the owners gave us a pass and thus we had free parking in a lot nearby.
Rooms: basic but very clean. Nice little flat-screen TV with plenty of channels. We had large doors opening onto a balcony - no view as such but nice touch. Bathroom a bit narrow, but shower was large and great power out of it!!
Service: I was very impressed that the cleaning crew waiting until we left the room to clean it, rather than putting pressure on to get out. The sheets and towels were changed every day. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and extremely helpful. My partner had been traveling a few days before so commented that he had some laundry and she said they would do it for him, had it back in the room clean & pressed in the afternoon. When we got the bill to leave, they had charged 25euro for the service, which wasn't mentioned at the time, but we didn't mention it as it was handy to have them cleaned and pressed so well.
Location: very central in Rapallo, right at the end of one of the pedestrianised streets, around the corner from the harbour, and easily accessible (important as my partner was on crutches at the time). Only small caveat is that it is next to Rapallo church, with a large bell-tower, but the bells chimed different songs and started at 9am so we were getting up then anyway and it didn't really bother us. But if you like a lie-in, be aware they are loud!!
All in all I would highly recommend this hotel, particularly for people who want someplace central, clean and friendly on a budget.
