The hotel is centrally located and a useful stop over hotel. Had not planned to stay in La Spezia as had difficulty in finding accommodation in the area. The room overlooked the main street and was clean and had a large, comfortable bed. If anything the room was a little noisy internally and externally despite the double glazed windows and the shutters. The breakfast was fair but not of the highest quality. The hotel has a safe, free car park in a garage nearby which was a bonus as we were travelling in a sport car. The staff were very helpful but unlikely that will stay there again. There is no beach at this location.

No real complaints about this place except thre was no WiFi . We found this to be one of the only places we stayed without it out of around 17 places we stayed on the trip.If you must stay in La Spezia it ok but if I went again I would stay in one of the cinque terra towns . Breakfast was pretty good as well and threre are restaurants nearby .

The hotel is relatively nice, the rooms are a bit outdated, but clean, breakfast ok, not all of the staff very helpful and friendly, although one guy was extremely so and saved us a lot of time. Internet is 10 € for 3 h, although there is a computer which provides free access. Parking during the day of checkout costs extra.

First of all, the Hotel Genova has more than 3 parking spaces. There are 3 temporary parking spaces directly in front of the hotel but they also have a locked indoor garage 2 or 3 hundred meters down the street. We stayed 3 nights and were given a space in the indoor garage.

We always stay in 2 or 3 star hotels which I select based on TripAdvisor reviews. We stayed at the Hotel Genova during a recent driving trip through France, Italy, and Switzerland. The hotel was very good. The location was great, not only because it was 5 minutes from the train station but was next to a couple of the really busy shopping streets and 100 yards from the daily market which we really enjoyed.

Everything about the hotel was good except the breakfast (included) which was disappointing. There was not much to choose from, there was no meat or cheese, the bread rolls were really mediocre, and the croissants were no better than I can get in Colorado. I would still stay at the hotel again, because of everything else that was right but I would not look forward to breakfast.
