Very Clean. Close to Train Station and courteous staff. WONDERFUL breakfast included! Don't miss this one!

Very centrally located, with a private parking, this no-frills hotel is of the practical sort, i.e. you get a bed with a bathroom - just what we needed on our way along the Italian coast towards Tuscany. This is a hotel with rather careless interior, small bathrooms, and a view on nothing. But at least it is sufficiently clean to stay there for the night.

Personally, I have an issue with service providers (e.g. hotels) that operate without an extra effort and this is the kind of establishment you will find here. We were able to book the room at a reasonable rate for the location, which is why I think it was ok - but I would not consider staying there for more than 1 night. I would also question the meaning of its 3 stars...

We used Genoa as a stopover between Milan and the Cinque Terre. That being the case and being here for only one night, this was the perfect location as we arrived and were leaving by train.

Getting to the hotel was very easy. Walk out the front of the train station and look at the signs on the street. They'll point you to the hotel with no problem. We were met by a very hospitable and helpful young hostess. (Sorry I cannot recall her name.) She got us checked-in, shared places we might want to see, suggested a route for a walk, etc.

The room was very comfortable and clean. It was nice to have a lift as we were on the 2nd floor and a bit tired.

For those who are looking for a no frills and comfortable hotel at a reasonable cost and near the train station, this is your hotel.

Excellent location within easy walk to train station, taxi, buses and the marina for your daliy trips elsewhere.Plenty to see all within walking distance from Hotel.
My room was pleasant ( even if my fridge was not working), very clean .Good service at breakfast.
Staff very helpful when I asked questions regarding trips and advice .
All in all I would stay there again and recomend this Hotel , I felt like a valued guest not just another guest by room number.
