Great location, and very new and clean. The breakfast was sufficient and the staff was friendly. One negative- the bathroom is extremely small in the rooms. Overall a great experience though.

You can't go wrong with the Best Western City Hotel in Genoa. It has everything you need. If the hotel is full, try the new Holiday Inn near the port and ferry terminal. Everything that applies to the BW also applies to the Holiday Inn at the port.

This hotel is in a very upscale area of the old city. I only stayed one night because I was flying home out of Genoa, but this was a very good choice. The rooms are very nice. There is a hot pot for making coffee and tea, as well as free WiFi in the rooms. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was excellent. We had to leave too early to have the breakfast that was included, although the hotel did offer pack something up for us. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer, but would stay at this hotel again if I ever return to Genoa. I highly recommend it.

Great location near the center of the old town, very friendly helpful staff, told us the best way to get to Portofino & Cinque Terre, with maps & directions, free wifi, nice breakfast, rooms small but comfortable..will definitely stay here again.
