The worst spg Property I have been To!! Dirty rooms, horrible internet quality, tv quality is a joke! Since it is august everybody is on leave, so no room service. Do not come here, go somewhere else. The only quality of this hotel is being close to the airport.

The Sheraton sits right by the airport in this small harbour town. It usually has plenty of available rooms, because it is overdimensioned for the locale. If you happen to have some business in town and/or arrive by plane, do book here. Triple glass windows will ensure a quiet room, even if a plane does land there, a rare event anyway. The driveway layout would lead you to the paid parking, but there is plenty of free and safe parking on the street.

I stayed at the Sheraton Genova for 2 nights in late January 2011. For me it was the most convenient place for business reasons and due to the fact that I had a very late arrival flight and very early departing flight and this hotel is located just a 5 minutes walk from the airport (250 mtrs), though there is a shuttle that can take you or pick you up from the airport entrance if you ask for it. Don't worry about its closeness to the airport: rooms are wonderfully isolated and you won't be disturbed from your sleep. The hotel was very nice in general. The service was excellent and the staff was willing to help. I arrived very late in the night without having had dinner and the room service was at my door with my order just 10 minutes after my request.Rooms are spacious and bed quite comfortable. Also the bathroom was quite big and was plenty of nice toilettries. For italian hotels this is above standards. My only complain is referred to the breakfast. The room where it is served is not very nice -though there is plenty of light- and the variety and quantity of food left much to be desired. In any case I will for sure stay again in this hotel if I come back again to Genova.

My husband and I selected this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and the offer of a free shuttle to the airport in the early morning.
We also took advantage of the free shuttle to the city centre to do some sightseeing and shopping.The staff were very helpful and spoke English, the room was clean and quiet and the beds very comfortable.We got a good price by booking directly with the hotel and felt we got good value fo our money.
