Had wonderful ocean view. Room was small but adequate. It might be hot in very hot weather, it was on the top floor. But for our stay it was not a problem. We had heard parking was a major problem, but we parked near the hotel and had a short walk. For parking timing may be important, weekends are busier. Hotel actually had a shower! Staff was very helpful, Alphonso (hope I have his name right), was very helpful.

One suggestion; this location would be spectacular for star gazing the sky is black. But parking lot lights interfer. For us city folk star gazing would be a perfect end to a Cinque Terra day. Monterosso should shield the parking lot lights ( I assume they will not turn them off).

This hotel would have been great if it were half the price. It was clean, the bed was fine, but nothing exceptional.

I was apprehensive about my reservation after reading some of the reviews. We had a room that faced the sea with a balcony. It was perfect. Typical Italian room -- a bit tight but nice shower and very clean.The location couldn't have been better -- 5 minute walk from train station.

The location on the sea front could not be better. However, avoid if you have mobility problems as the lift is really just for moving luggage and very difficult to operate. Our room was clean but basic with no view. Thin walls meat we werewoken early in the morning by the cleaners and other guests. Altogether, reasonable value for this very expensive area.
